Men’s Ministries

The ‘Men of Nehemiah’ Breakfast

Join us every 1st AND 3rd Sunday of the month as we travel to South Dallas to serve the Men of Nehemiah.  This is a bible-based, military style rehab facility.  The men there are in need of mentors and friends to come alongside them in their recovery and encourage them.

We leave the church at 5:45a and take several dozen eggs, gallons of juice, biscuits, bacon, sausage, etc. to the compound. We cook breakfast and serve the homeless in the area.

Following breakfast, we worship with the men in a church service.

We are back before the 11:00 RockPointe service, so we can worship with our families.

Chin Refugee Ministry

The Chin are actually several people groups from the western side of Burma (Myanmar), near India. They are called the “Hill People.” The name Chin is the Burmese name for the residents of Chin State.

They have no place to go. The Chin are a predominately Christian tribe, converted by early missionaries to Burma. They are seen as threats by the Buddhist military junta who rules the country because they supported democracy in the last election. They live with constant intimidation.

This is where we come in….

We support the local Chin Community Ministry in Lewisville, TX.

The mission of Chin Community Ministry is to walk with our Chin brothers and sisters in Christ who live in Lewisville, TX. We help establish, equip, and engage the Chin by connecting them with American individuals, families and community resources to help meet their practical, emotional and spiritual needs as they begin a new life in America.
