Worship Arts Information

** If you are interested in exploring service in any of the Worship Arts areas, please contact michael@rpcstaff.org. **

** In September, we will be launching our Saturday Night service.  We are in need of volunteers in every area.  Please contact us if you can serve on Saturday night.  We are especially looking for bass players, drummers, sound operators, lighting system operators and media system operators.**

Our Vision for Worship Arts:

  • RECEIVE believers and non-believers where they are by genuinely connecting them with the love, grace, forgiveness, mercy and fulfillment found in a relationship with Jesus Christ alone;
  • EQUIP our congregation to glorify God through scriptural knowledge, prayer, music, spoken and written word and, in fact, our every action within our daily lives;
  • IMPACT the body of Christ by ushering in an environment where our we experience the manifest presence of God each and every Sunday;
  • SEND worship leaders into the community by recruiting, teaching, growing and sending others to do the same.

Worship Arts Information

Purpose – At RockPointe Church, the Worship Art Ministry’s purpose is to first glorify and please God and then lead the congregation to experience His presence in a real and meaningful way.  Each week, we offer a blended selection of music, drama and/or other relevant art forms that emphasize the pastor’s message and that bridge the gap between multiple generations, styles and even cultures.  Additionally, we use available technology creatively and respectfully to support the ministry.  We always encourage and welcome active participation in worship by the entire congregation. 

RockPointe’s Mission! - "Loving God with all that we are while making more and better followers of Christ."  The Worship Arts Ministry accomplishes this mission by leading, worshiping, reaching, teaching and growing those that seek to praise Christ, Our Savior, through a variety of art forms and supporting technology.

In alignment with our Values, RockPointe’s Worship Arts Ministry is committed to:

Receiving, Equipping and Sending People – Worshiping our King through art must always strive to be an effective way to introduce and connect people to God.  Team members respect and appreciate the wonderful opportunity and awesome responsibility God has given us to participate in this ministry, in whatever capacity is needed including our vision to start, support and serve other church plants.

Creativity and Relevance – Using a combination of the arts and technology to communicate God’s good news, we believe that any art form must first glorify God and then edify (strengthen) the relationship with His people.  Worship Arts are and must continue to be an effective and supportive means of teaching the truth as set forth in Scripture.  Art forms utilized at RockPointe Church contemplate, emphasize and clarify the teachings of Scripture.

Excellence and Full Devotion - Jesus Christ set an example of sacrificial service that pleased His Father while communicating God's love to the world.  Therefore, we must continually remain fully devoted to glorifying God, expressing His love and inspiring others through our ministry.  We commit to giving God our best with a mind for continuous improvement while remaining accountable to each other as we live a devoted Christian life.

In the future as God leads, additional opportunities to serve in these (or in related) areas will continuously be enhanced or created.
