Co-Ed Classes

Discovering Jesus

Sun | 8:00a | Rm 307 | On-going class – SUMMER BREAK 6/4 – 9/10
Exactly who was Jesus? A wise teacher? A prophet? A fake? During Jesus’ lifetime, no one understood his mission, but with a few carefully chosen incidents, the Apostle John unfolds the truth. Throughout the centuries, this portrait has drawn men and women into committed belief and intimate relationships with the Son of God. The study includes historical insight, word definitions, discussion questions and assignments. To register, click HERE.

The Uniqueness of Jesus

Sun | 9:15a | Rm 307 | On-going class
Why is Jesus Unique? While Matthew, Mark and Luke tell us so much of what Jesus did, John seems to show us what Jesus meant. John helps us to see Jesus through a unique lens. Using John’s words, outside readings and video, we will try to put into context this Hebrew message written to a Greek world. Open to all (just like the Gospel). This class will have plenty of discussion and additional commentary from various teachers (John Macarthur, J Vernon McGee, William Barclay, David Stern, Zola Levitt, Chuck Missler, Phillip Yancy, and Max Lucado and more).  The focus will be to give better insight of that Jewish time and the history and customs of the of the land, to make the words of John take on deeper “Life”.– all you need is a Bible and your honest thoughts.
