Apologetics – Co-ed

led by Mark Lundborg
Parker Square | Sundays | Aug 28 – Dec 18 | 10:30a

Peter encourages the church to have a defense, apologia, ready for anyone asking about the hope that Christ followers have within. This semester long class will examine the reasonableness of our faith through the study of apologetics. An overview of faith in science, philosophy and history will be an encouragement to the attendee and give preparation for gospel conversations.

Mark Lundborg is a husband to Becky, Father of Cole (23) and Kenna (21). His career has primarily been in the building technologies business, various minor hobbies, and a longtime passion for apologetics. He grew up in a family with wonderful parents and a strong Christian heritage on both sides. Came to believe at a very young age, and have made some needed progress continuing on to maturity in each decade of my life. The class will be focused on facilitating good discussion and incorporating expert analysis, while maintaining a strong emphasis on what the Bible actually says.

The Uniqueness of John – Co-ed

led by Eric Bussey & Jack Wilson
Parker Square | Sundays | 10:30a

While Matthew, Mark, and Luke tell us so much of what Jesus did, John’s unique perspective shows us who Jesus is. In this class, we will try to understand John’s Hebrew message written to a Greek world. With input from numerous respected bible scholars, we’ll explore the Jewish history and customs of that time in order to make the words of John come to life.

2 Corinthians – Co-ed

led by Jim Davis
Parker Square | Sundays | 10:30a

Join us for a study in 2 Corinthians as we explore Paul’s words of encouragement to always focus on Christ. This study (by John MacArthur) details observations on overriding themes and probing questions to help you study the Word of God.

Jim Davis, a retired Air Force and airline pilot, is married to Nancy, and together they have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Jim and Nancy came to Christ in 1973 while in the Air Force stationed in Germany. They both started attending Bible studies through mission organizations that served the military community. He began leading Bible study groups after he transitioned to civilian life. Since then, he’s led small group Bible studies for over 40 years and loves to see God’s truth transform God’s people.
