Embrace Mother’s Luncheon
Saturday, March 25, 12p-2p
Central Campus in the NorthPointe Worship Center
We cannot wait to pour into our RPC Moms who have a child/adult with special abilities! Please join us for a luncheon hosted by RPC Embrace where we will share in worship, community, and encouragement from a guest speaker! Consider inviting a friend who also has a child/adult with special abilities!
RockPointe strives to provide an accepting environment where individuals with special needs can learn about Christ. For families with children who have been diagnosed with a disability, whether it is physical or mental, we will provide a “Buddy” for your child during the 9:15a or 11:00a Sunday morning worship services at our Central Campus and during the 9:00a or 10:30a Sunday morning worship service at our Parker Square Campus. Our “Buddy” will pair up with your child to accompany and help with participation in their age-appropriate classroom.
FIRST TIME FAMILY INFORMATION
Please take a moment to do the following:
♥ Fill out the Intake Registration Form
♥ Complete the Parent Info Sheet
♥ Email Marnie Piccin, Special Needs Coordinator, to let her know if you are planning to visit us at RockPointe! We can’t wait to meet you and your children.
A parent/caregiver must attend class with your child on the first visit to help our staff evaluate your child’s needs. This allows us to better serve your child and your family as we place him/her with a “Buddy”.
EMBRACE SPECIAL NEEDS SUPPORT GROUP
This adult support group is for parents (singles or couples) of children with special needs. The purpose is to connect, fellowship and share prayer needs. Childcare drop off is at 4:00p. Childcare will be provided for your special needs child (of any age) and siblings, birth-5th grade.
This group meets the second Sunday of every month from 4-6p.
If you are 14 years of age or older and looking for a place to serve, Embrace (our Special Needs ministry), has a place for you! We are looking for people who have a heart for supporting a child by being a “buddy” who helps to mainstream the child into the class or who provides one on one assistance to more individualized needs.
