What is a Pack-a-thon?

Feed the Hunger Pack-a-thon is a food packing event in which RockPointe Church helps produce thousands of nutritious meals that will be distributed through Feed the Hunger partners to children and families in need, both in America and internationally.

Did you know?

  • $102.20  feeds a child for an entire school year
  • Fall 2017 we packed our 3,000,000th meal
  • $42,000 is needed to cover our Pack-a-thon expenses in the Spring
  • RPC also partners with Feed the Hunger through our support of  The Life Saver Orphanage in Haiti

How Else Can You Help?

RockPointe Church is responsible for funding our events. All the food packed and delivered is paid for by us… that’s you and other generous and mission-minded folks like you. If you would like to do more in addition to helping pack meals, donate here.

Through the Feed the Hunger food-packing events, RockPointe Church has provided more than three million meals for children around the world. Along with the meal, these children receive the love of Christ through volunteers and the organizations caring for them. These meals are delivered directly to the children – sometimes even by our own church members.

For a second year in a row, we were able to do just that as we sent another team of families to Lynch, KY. The team was able to unpack the meals packed by our very own church at a previous Pack-a-thon, cook the meals and then distribute them to families in need in the area.

Together, let’s feed some hungry children and show them the love of Christ!
You don’t have to travel far to be a part of serving others in need. We would love for you to join us!

RockPointe Church provides additional support to Feed the Hunger through their ministry initiative, Life Saver Orphanage Home in Haiti.

Life Saver Orphanage Home started after the earthquake of 2010.  Pastor Paul Williams and his wife began walking the streets after the earthquake and discovered many little children that had lost their parents.  The children were physically hurt with broken arms, cuts and bruises and they were mentally confused, saddened and in shock.

Feed the Hunger was directed to them soon after the earthquake and began supporting them providing them with food, clothes and beds. At first the children and Paul’s family lived under a large tarp; at that time no one wanted to stay in a building due to the instability of all the buildings following the earthquake. Months later they moved into a home that was partially occupied by a small school.  Today they live in a beautiful clean home.

The children range in age from 3 – 17. What is unique about these children (26) and Paul’s family is that they are singers and musicians.  Paul has trained all of his children to play instruments and to sing and they do it very well.

Last year a woman from Georgia that has her own ministry, visited the children’s home and fell in love with them.  She has greatly invested into the home financially and also in their singing.  Last year she and her team spent many hours teaching the children English, Christian songs and etiquette.  She brought them over to the states and the choir traveled to numerous states singing in churches and other concerts raising money for the home.  The children spent over 3 months there.

Feed the Hunger provides Life Saver Orphanage with boxed food plus RockPointe’s monthly gift. Read the most current ministry update.
