Over the past four years, RockPointe has sent multiple mission teams to work with Shon and Janeene Young and Pastor Antelmo Zarate and his wife, Esther, to support their ministries.

Shon and Janeene Young are missionaries touching the lives of their local community in Del Rio, TX as well as in Acuña, Mexico. Shon is the River Ministry Coordinator for the Baptist General Convention of Texas and Chairman of the Val Verde Humanitarian Coalition. Their partners in Acuña, Mexico are Pastor Antelmo Zarate and his wife, Esther, of Estrella de Belen Church. They provide a tutoring program, English classes, Bible Studies and other programs as part of their outreach into their community.

For 2023, we will take a team that will serve in Acuña, Mexico and share the gospel through the following activities:

• Literacy based Vacation Bible School at the Noblasi church plant.
• Cook and serve meals for the residents of Centauro, a special needs home in Acuña.
• Host a Tech Camp to teach the basics of programming at a local church.
