Local Missions Minister
My marriage is proof God can use anyone or anything to write a love story – I met my amazing husband on Match.com. We have four kiddos – Emory, Lane, Colton, and Elena.
Many years of my story can be categorized as messy with a capital M! I lived in messy, I created messy, I endured messy. With the weight of experiencing years of messiness, I hit rock bottom at age 30 and what a glorious day that was. I met Jesus in an unexplainable way – I don’t know if I will ever be able to adequately put it to words.
I was raised Catholic and grew up in the church – never missed a Sunday or a holy day of obligation – but somehow, I missed Jesus through it all. Although I had known Him my entire life, I never accepted His offer of true, intimate relationship until that day. I did not know or realize that He truly died for me, that He had created me with a plan and a purpose before I even came into being. How could a perfect God love and forgive someone as messy as me? And yet He did!
From that day I have felt like the deer in Psalm 42 panting for flowing streams… “so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.” I want all that He has for me so that my life may glorify Him, and as Erma Bombeck once said, “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me’.”

People experiencing true freedom in Christ. I love meeting people who don’t know Him and watching their journey of experiencing the only One who has ever truly set the captives free!

If Jeb has the remote, I will be forced to watch a western… I’m pretty sure I have seen them all!
In my free time, I usually:
