Connor Torre
Student ReGen Facilitator

My Family:
I am married to Megan and we have no kids, human or pets (yet). My parents live in Allen, and I have five siblings. My two older siblings live in Virginia and California, my two younger sisters live at Dallas Baptist University, the school they are currently attending, and my youngest brother lives at home with my parents. From oldest to youngest, their names are Stephen, Felicia, me, Mikayla, Kennedy, Kale. and we range in age from 33 to 12.

My Story:
I grew up in Southern California where I enjoyed going to youth group, playing sports, and hanging out with my friends. I lived there until my junior year of high school, when my dad received a job offer to move to Texas. After he took the job, we have been here since. While my family lives in Allen, I live in Oak Cliff with my wife, Megan. We met while in college, and she graduated in 2019 and is now a teacher in DISD. We got married December 2019. I graduate from Dallas Baptist University in August 2020, and by this time, I will have transitioned from a part-time position to my first full-time job as Associate Youth Pastor here at Rockpointe.

Something Most People Don’t Know About Me:
I can roast a marshmallow like a pro.

My Trademark Expression:
Will ask “How are you doing,” even if I have just asked.

Besides the Bible, my recommended reading would be:
Harry Potter, Out of the Silent Planet, and My Antonia

I’m Most Excited About:
Megan (my wife), Ultimate Frisbee, and Legend of Zelda

My Favorite TV Shows:
Psych, Breaking Bad, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Naruto

In my free time, I usually:
Spend time with my wife, play pickup Ultimate Frisbee where I can, watch movies with my wife, and play Super Smash Bros. with the boys.
