My Story:
I was born in Washington State but moved to San Antonio in 2006. A few years after we moved to Texas, my parents ended up separating and that is when doubt of the Lord's faithfulness and doubt of his existence crept into my life. However, in the summer of 2013, realizing that the Lord used that event to rid me of myself so that I can see that He is all that I need, that He satisfies my soul and is the giver of peace. After I surrendered my life to Christ, I began to be more involved in my youth group which stirred my affections for wanting to become a Youth Pastor and because of that, it narrowed down colleges. That desire led me to Dallas Baptist University where I graduated in May of 2020 with a Degree in Communications. Through my time at DBU, I have learned what it looks like to cling to the cross, I have seen biblical community in the most beautiful ways and most importantly, been sanctified through the work of the Holy Spirit and people that the Lord has blessed me with in my life.
