My Family:
I have been married to my amazing husband, Dan, since 2004. We have 3 children – our son, Carson (born in 2005), and our twins, Colt and Kate (born in 2007). They are my “people” and bring me such joy.

I am very close to my parents and my siblings and their families. I have the unique opportunity to get to work with my sister, Betsy McGinnis, and serve alongside my dad, John Raybuck, right here at RockPointe. RockPointe is home to almost my entire family!

My Story:
I was saved when I was in Kindergarten at my church’s VBS, so it feels like I’ve always walked with the Lord. I used to think that I didn’t really have a story; but as I grow in my faith, I am realizing that just because my story isn’t flashy, it’s still a story of God’s redemption and continual sanctification.

I was a very judgmental, holier-than-thou child and self-righteous teenager, and I looked down my nose at the “hypocrites” in my church youth group. I was a good girl and took pride in being “better” than everyone else. I went off to college at The University of Texas and there I learned to love and have grace for all types of people. Those four years in college opened my eyes to see that God loves all people – and so should I. I may not agree with their lifestyle or their beliefs, but I am called to love them regardless.

I struggled greatly with clinical depression in my twenties and although that was the hardest period in my life, I can look back on it now and see that God was in it and He was good and faithful even in my darkest times. My favorite verse is Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

I started my career in Human Resources as a Recruiter, an Employee Relations Manager, and eventually an HR Manager. After having the twins, I was afforded the beautiful blessing of being a stay at home mom to my three children. During that time, God led us to RockPointe Church and to my current job in the Children’s Ministry. We have been at RockPointe almost 5 years and I have enjoyed every moment of being on staff in this incredible ministry.

God has blessed me tremendously with an amazing family and a fantastic job. He works in mighty ways and I can’t wait to see what He does with the rest of my life!
