About Your Family
My husband Collin and I fell in love, basically at first sight, when we were in our early twenties. We have four kids who make our life full and rich – Hanna, Olivia, Norah, and Will.

What’s your story?
I met Christ at a summer camp during my sophomore year in high school. My faith grew even deeper when I became a wife and mother. Jesus is my best friend and savior!

What’s something about you most people don’t know?
Most people find it very surprising that I am a long distance backpacker. I love spending time in the backcountry and am not afraid of animals, being alone, or being out in the middle of nowhere! I have my gear dialed in and can thrive out there with a 15# pack.

What is your trademark expression?
I do lots of voices and sing things instead of saying them. I’m generally pretty silly and happy.

Besides the Bible, what is something you’d recommend someone to read?
Anything by C.S. Lewis. I also love (and write) poetry! Pablo Neruda, Jack Kerouac, and Langston Hughes are some of my favorites.

What are you most excited about?
I geek out on geography and geology. I mean GEEK out on it.

What do you like to watch on TV?
My favorite things to watch are unscripted reality shows like Alone or The Last Alaskans, or YouTube hikers/mountaineers who do long action videos of their expeditions.

What do you do in your free time?
I hike, camp, rock climb, read, and chill with my family and dogs!
