About Your Family
I have been married to Anthony since 1982. We have 4 children named in alphabetical order! Adam (Becca), Brian(Chelsea), Craig (Meredith), and Dana. They are scattered and I am so proud of the independent, compassionate, Christ-followers they have become. I will be racking up airline miles to visit my 5 grandchildren!
What’s your story?
I was raised Southern Baptist, married a Catholic. We were both raised in very active Christian families. If the doors were open, we were there. That tradition continued when we got married. Our kids say they were “Captist” for many years. As a family, we joined a Bible church in 1998. My personal relationship with Christ has been lifelong. I remember wanting to answer that Baptist alter call at 6 years old but being told I had to wait until I was 8. I don’t necessarily have an aha moment other than that when I became a Christian. I grew up knowing Jesus as my Savior and best friend and have been blessed my entire life to rely on Him in every trial and celebration. I wear a bracelet with Proverbs 3:5 to remind me that God is in charge and I am not in control. He has never failed me. After my dad passed away my mother became a missionary and inspired my family to serve in our respective mission fields. Some of my children have done mission work in other locations but as a family, we strive to serve in our communities and churches to “go and make better disciples”.
