ROCKPOINTE CHURCH
MID-GEN /
SENIOR ADULTS
Mid-Gen/Senior Adult Ministry is a new ministry at RockPointe created to support those navigating life after 55. However, it isn’t defined by age alone but by life-stages and circumstances. We seek to come alongside those journeying through the evolving seasons of later adult life: empty-nester or soon-to-be empty nester, approaching retirement or already enjoying it, caring for aging parents while still supporting children at home, or experiencing the unique rhythms of elderly life.

Senior Living Today: What It Really Looks Like
APRIL 15 | 7p | CENTRAL CAMPUS
Modern senior living looks nothing like the old nursing‑home stereotype. This presentation led by Lori Williams of Lori Williams Senior Services breaks down today’s options, costs, and what families should know to plan with confidence. Many people still picture senior living as a 1970's-style nursing home- institutional, outdated, and limiting. The reality today is very different.
Doing Life with Your Adult Children:
Keeping Your Mouth Shut & the Welcome Mat Out
SUNDAYS
APRIL 12-MAY 3
11:15a-12:30p | PARKER SQUARE
This 4-week class focuses on navigating the complex role of parenting grown kids, addressing changing roles in a calling that never ends. It offers practical guidance on boundaries, communication, and support, especially when values differ or roles shift, as well as faith-based encouragement and legacy-building insights for every season of parenting.

MONDAY, APRIL 13
1-2:30p | CENTRAL CAMPUS
Join us for fun and fellowship as we learn Scottish Country Dancing! It is a friendly, social style of dance with easy-to-learn steps, light movement, and a warm sense of community—much like line dancing with its simple patterns, group movement, and plenty of smiles—yet it carries a more graceful, traditional flair. And if you’re not into dancing, come watch and enjoy the fellowship and snacks.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15
6:30p | CENTRAL CAMPUS FOYER
Join us for a spring themed potluck dinner. We will provide the main course (ham), and we ask that you bring a side dish or dessert that complements the main course. We hope to see you there!
