re:genRE:GENERATION

Re:generation (ReGen) is a 12-step discipleship plan for recovery and abundant living. By working through these biblical steps within a supportive community, people find freedom from substance abuse, codependency, pornography, eating disorders, depression, fear, abuse, anger, and many other personal struggles. Experience God’s best for you in this semester-length course to hope and spiritual health.

PAINT WAR

WED | AUG 17 | 6 – 8p | CENTRAL CAMPUS

Join student ministry in kicking off the school year with paint war! We will be at the church for pizza, pops, and paint! Prepare to get messy! Participants will need to wear old white shirts and shorts over swimsuits. The fun starts outside at 6pm with pizza, followed by worship in the student room, then the paint war and we will end the evening with popsicles. We will be done at 8pm and parents should be prepared to pickup a messy and wet kiddo!

Foster and Adoption Family Life GroupFOSTER AND ADOPTION FAMILY LIFE GROUP

Foster and Adoption Family Life Group is designed to connect foster and adoptive families with one another in the church and in life. These families gather for the purpose of support, encouragement, resource sharing, training, and most importantly FELLOWSHIP. This group will meet the 3rd Sunday of the month at RockPointe Church Central campus. Childcare will be available.

Small Group PaloozaSMALL GROUP PALOOZA

Looking for a small group? Join us for Small Group Palooza! This is the first step to getting connected to a small group at Rockpointe. Tables will be set up in the main lobby of the church between worship services. This is a great step in getting connected with others at RockPointe Church and in growing your relationship with God. GriefShareGRIEFSHARE SUPPORT GROUP

GriefShare is a grief recovery support group where you can find help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one. We will meet weekly to provide help and encouragement after the death of a loved one. We know it hurts and we want to help. Childcare is available with registration.

NIGHT OF WORSHIP

THURSDAY | AUG 25 | 6-8p | PARKER SQUARE

In worship, we live out our created purpose to worship with all we are, and commit all our attention on God. You are wondrously called to worship in the presence of God! How is this different from our normal weekly worship? More worship songs and more additional means for worship will be used to guide us into the presence of God. The worship leaders will pull out all the stops to use their abilities to point us to Christ in this night devoted solely to praise. Come and see!

Board Game NightTHE BRIDGE BOARD GAME NIGHT

College Age (18-24) and Young Adults (25-28) want to get to know our friends who are widows and widowers. So, how about we have a simple board game night? You’re invited!

Feel free to bring one of your own favorite games (whether board game, card game, or whichever), and invite a friend. It will be an informal time to build multi-generation community, understanding, and relationships that are centered in Jesus. This is one small way that we live life together as a Spirit-filled community.

Parenting a teen to become an adult has its own unique set of challenges . Being intentional and connecting with your teen during these critical years is important. God gives us his written Word for many reasons, one of which is to guide us in the challenge of parenting, even in today’s world. This 6 week class will focus on providing perspective and Biblical insight into some of these areas.

Ignite Kids offers children in 1st-5th grade an amazing opportunity to grow in both discipleship and a skill, while encouraging community with other kids. The fall semester offerings include: Glory Moves (3rd-5th grade girls), BIG Time (3rd-5th grade boys), Worship Kids (3rd-5th graders), Skit Kids (3rd-5th graders), Nature Explorers (1st – 2nd graders) and Joy Jam Worship (1st – 2nd graders).

The Bible Drill discipleship path is a dynamic program in which children in 3rd-6th grade will memorize 25 verses, 10 key passages and the names of all 66 books of the Bible. It is essential that parents partner with the child to learn the material. In addition to practice time, please pray, motivate, and encourage your child as he/she memorizes God’s Word.

Lifeline to Hope is an 11-week core caregiver training program to equip you as a competent biblical caregiver. Lifeline to Hope is a unique “first of its kind” resource to train people to effectively provide support, encouragement, spiritual care and referral services on a short-term basis — connecting a life in need with a life in Christ! Choose one of two times offered by RockPointe Church. Registration also required through Hope for the Heart. Childcare for birth-5th grade available with registration.

Couples’ Date Night & Single Parents Night Out is an opportunity for you to connect as a married couple or have a night out as a single parent. We provide you with a fun-filled date night packet and affordable childcare for birth – 5th grade for those that need it. Just register so we have a packet o’fun ready for you. You can pick it up at 4:15 – 5p on Sept 10 or we can send it over to you electronically. CHILDCARE IS FULL, but you can still sign up to receive the date night packet o’fun!

You’ll encounter a refreshing time of connection with other women, a reprieve from your busy day-to-day schedule, and an opportunity to learn how to lean on Jesus as your LIVING HOPE.

DivorceCare will meet on Tuesdays from 6:30–8:30p at the Parker Square Campus from Aug 23–Nov 22 and includes a special class for Surviving the Holidays. There is a $20 registration fee which includes meals and materials. Childcare is available for birth–5th grade with registration.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

FOR STUDENTS IN RPC KIDS

RockPointe values biblical education and volunteer participation for high school students. In recognition of consistent participation in Student Ministry Bible study and volunteering in Children’s Ministry at RockPointe, the church will recognize that act of service with a scholarship. Are you currently volunteering in RPC Kids and interested in finding out more about the scholarship? Or are you interested in pursuing a volunteer position in RPC Kids?
