Mission 78 to Memphis, Tennessee, is an opportunity for 7th and 8th grade students to engage with children and youth through a ministry called Street Reach in North Memphis. Street Reach impacts children’s lives by meeting them where they are and running Backyard Bible Clubs (similar to VBS) in their own neighborhoods. The ministry was started 30 years ago out of Brinkley Heights Baptist Church, when a group of 12 men and women came together with the conviction to reclaim their neighborhood for Christ.

On Mission 78, students will lead these Backyard Bible Clubs with the help of Street Reach Staff and engage in teaching from the original pastor of Brinkley Heights Bible Church. Students will stay on campus at Brinkley Heights Urban Academy, serve during the day and engage in teaching/worship/community in the mornings and evenings. Ultimately, students will be encouraged by the good news of Jesus and learn how to share that good news with these youth. We would love to see your 7th and 8th grader there!
