Women's Ministry Fall Retreat

October 18-19 | Central Campus

This weekend is just for you.

Ladies from high school and up are invited for a special weekend to slow down, connect with other women, and really examine what finding your identity in Jesus Christ alone can look like for you. Invite your daughters, neighbors, friends, and grandmas, too!

Who am I?

When you look in the mirror and try to answer that question, maybe you think of status, skills, or relationships. Maybe your answer is rooted in circumstances, experiences, or outcomes.

“I am a mom.”

“I am a student.”

“I am an artist.”

“I am hopeless.”

“I am happy.”

“I am _______.”

We all wrestle with the question of, “Who am I?” It’s time to find our identity in the right thing.

What’s the schedule?

Friday Breakout Sessions

Self-Defense

Learn how to become more aware of your surroundings and defend yourself in dangerous situation from some of our favorite law enforcement officers. Self-Defense will be in Collide(NorthPointe).

Pickleball

Have you ever wondered why pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the U.S.? Come learn some pickleball basics and play with some new friends! Pickle Ball will be in the back parking lot.

Pilates & Praise

Join us for a time to connect, worship, move, and breathe. No experience is needed! We want you to experience a refreshing time (and even work your muscles a bit, too). Pilates will be in NorthPointe Worship Center.

Saturday Breakout Sessions

Daily Rhythms
Examine ways to engage with God in a variety of spiritual disciplines for your everyday life. Whether you are just starting on a journey with the Lord or looking for new ideas, you’ll find some refreshing information. Daily Rhythms will be in NorthPointe Worship Center.

Identity & Body Image
Whether you’ve experienced body image issues or eating disorders personally or others in your life have struggled, this session will help you find hope through God’s Truth and the experience of others. Identity & Body Image will be in room #309 A&B.

Embroidery 101
Come get crafty with us! Enjoy this hands-on chance to learn basic embroidery skills and even leave with your own creation! Embroidery 101 will be in the Worship Center.

A Taste of Chocolate
Kay Thibodeaux is the head chocolatier and president of The Touring Chocolatier. She brings over a decade of experience in the chocolate industry, to our event! She’ll share basic chocolate-making skills and provide a tasting session you won’t forget. A Taste of Chocolate will be in Collide (NorthPointe).
