MISSIONS

Operation Christmas Child

Please bring finished shoeboxes to either campus by November 3 and drop off in the Missions Bin

If you cannot make it by November 3, we can still accept shoeboxes after, it is just ideal to by that date.

Pack a shoebox for Samaritan Purse's Operation Christmas Child!

If you missed the OCC packing party, no worries! You can still pack a shoebox. Operation Christmas Child is an organization connected to Samaritan's Purse. OCC provides local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disasters, famine, and disease. The children receive the gospel through teaching and discipleship. In the process of receiving a shoebox, an entire family, a village, and potentially more can receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. Lives are healed, churches are planted, and the gospel continues to spread!

If you would like to volunteer at the
OCC warehouse in Coppell, individually or with your small group, sorting and setting up shoeboxes for final shipment out, you can sign up for that here!

At this year's Fall Packing Party, we packed 496 shoeboxes!! However, we'd love to send out more. If you'd like to pack an individual shoebox, please follow the steps below:

Step one: Choose to pack for a boy or a girl!
Step two: Choose an age range!
Step Three: Fill the box with gender/age appropriate items from our list below!
Step Four: Write a note to your child!
Step Five: Pray over your box!
Step Six: Optional donation of $10 to pay for shipping (fun fact: if you do pay for shipping, you can track your shoebox and see what country it ends up in!)
Step Seven: Drop your box off in the missions bin at either campus!
