My Story:

I was born in Hot Springs, AR, and raised in a Christian home where my parents deeply valued being actively involved in a local church. I placed my trust in Christ as my Savior at the age of 10, but like many others, it took time for me to mature and those roots of faith to grow deep. It wasn’t until I was 21 that my life began to bear clear and consistent fruit of salvation. Much of my childhood was spent playing sports—especially select basketball. I spent my high school years in Paris, TX, and eventually attended Baylor University. My college journey took an unexpected turn (a story better told over coffee) and I would graduate from a different college before stepping into full-time ministry as a Student Pastor in Austin, TX. After five incredible years there, my wife and I made the move to Flower Mound so I could attend Dallas Theological Seminary, where I earned my master’s degree. It’s been a blessing and privileged to serve on staff at RockPointe Church since 2011. 

Something Most People Don’t Know:

I love to golf but never keep score.

Leaders are readers - so read as much and as often as you can.

Helping people better understand scripture and inspiring them to better love and live for God.
