About Your Family

I have two parents Jason and Libby who worked in ministry for over 20 years and now work in the school district. I have two brothers named Ryker and Hawke. Ryker is my older brother and graduated from ACU with his masters and undergrad in ministry. My younger brother Hawke is attending ACU and studying in Engineering.

What’s your story?

I grew up in a Christian home with a Christian family. I was a part of the Church of Christ until I was 12 and my parents were working in full-time ministry at this time. This was a hard season for me and my family, and during this time I began getting involved in worship music and playing in worship bands and bands in general. The older I got the more I fell in love with worship. After another hard season on me and my family, my senior year of high school, I was ready to graduate and move onto college. I was a new believer and was baptized at the age of 17 and ready to live for Christ, and because of this decision, it was hard living in a world where all my friends didn’t walk the same path. After my senior year I graduated and went to ACU. I lived in Abilene for 4 years and it came with many highs and many lows. I didn’t start enjoying my time at ACU until my junior year, and didn’t find my true community until senior year. It was there I majored in Youth & Family Ministry and was leading worship and playing in worship bands all of the time. I am grateful to say the Lord brought me through that season and I am now a college graduate. I have learned so much over my life and could tell so much more, if you wanted to ask. I am excited to be working and being apart of the Rockpointe Community.

What’s something about you most people don’t know?

I am a Barber on the side and love shoes!

Besides the Bible, what is something you’d recommend someone to read?

I recommend a book written by Chris Tomlin & Darren Whitehead called “Holy Roar.” This book changed the way I worship and I would highly suggest reading it!

What are you most excited about?

I am excited to work with our students at Rockpointe and worship alongside them, like some of my mentors have done for me throughout my life growing up.

What do you like to watch on TV?

I love watching anything Star Wars, and Disney Plus is the primary place I watch TV.

What do you do in your free time?

I love play disc golf, playing music, watching movies, hanging with friends, playing sports, and going outside!
