STUDENT MINISTRY

RockPointe Student Ministry serves students ranging from 6th grade to 12th grade. Our passion is to see the next generation grow into godly men and women who will impact the world for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our ministry seeks to connect every student to God’s Word, God’s people, and God’s purposes.

Middle School

RockPointe Student Ministry desires to walk with middle school students and partner with families through the adolescent years. We earnestly seek to come along side students as they experience significant changes and point them toward Jesus Christ and the Scripture in order to help them answer the biggest questions of their life: Who am I? Where do I fit in? What is my purpose?

-----------------------------------------

Alpha (All 6th Grade Students and 7th & 8th Students Not Registered for D Groups) | 6:00-8:00pm | NorthPointe

Alpha is a foundations of the faith class designed for 6th grade students and 7th & 8th grade students not registered for a D Group. Each week, students will engage in games, teaching, and small groups. Alpha is led by our incredible PAIS Team and allows all of our 6th graders to start out together as they enter student ministry. Our goal is that students will establish a foundation for the faith and have an easier transition into D groups the next year. As we are continuing to adapt to the space constraints at RockPointe, Alpha allows us to accommodate groups in a more functional manner. There is no registration required.

-----------------------------------------

D-Groups (7th & 8th Grade Students) | 6:00-8:00pm | NorthPointe

D stands for Discipleship! Wednesday night middle school D-Groups are small, static, in-depth accountability groups with committed adult leaders who guide students through discipleship studies. A student who enrolls in a D-Group is committing for the school year to be an active participant each Wednesday night and should expect to have some outside of group daily or weekly devotion and study...i.e. “homework”. D-Groups are a wonderful opportunity for the student who wants to go deeper in their faith with an awesome leader and develop relationships in a small group setting. Groups are divided by grade and gender, and students are placed in groups as leaders are available. Please follow the link below to register or contact Austin Rhoades for more information.
