INTERNSHIP & RESIDENCY PROGRAM

Requirements:

• Rising HS senior, recent HS graduate, or college student
• Application process

Duration of Internship:

• Mid May - mid August
• Up to 15 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Weekly Bible study and Intern Huddle with other interns/residents and Student Minister
• Weekly 1:1 with supervisor
• Assist with leading a Bible study or small area of ministry
• Assist with summer events, Sunday morning programming, summer ministry emphases, etc.
• Attend intern meetings, ministry staff meetings, event planning meetings, etc.

• Former Summer Intern
• Application process
• Interview process
• Call to ministry

Duration of Internship:

• 9 mo. (August - May)
• Up to 29 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Complete the “Called” class through RockPointe Academy
• Weekly 1:1 with supervisor
• Disciple others
• Own a ministry project or event
• Assist with ministry events, programming, emphases, etc.
• Attend weekly intern discipleship and equipping, ministry staff meetings, event planning meetings, etc.
  

Requirements:

• College student
• Former Year 1 Intern
• Call to ministry

Duration of Internship:

• 1 year (May - May)
• Up to 29 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Complete a class through RockPointe Academy
• Weekly 1:1 with supervisor
• Disciple others
• Own a ministry area
• Lead a ministry event
• Assist with ministry events, programming, emphases, etc.
• Teach on platform (if applicable)
• Attend weekly intern discipleship and equipping, ministry staff meetings, event planning meetings, etc.

Requirements:

• College graduate or college student with at least 95 hours or 7 years post high school
• Application process
• Interview process
• Call to ministry

Duration of Internship:

• 1 year (May - May)
• Full-time (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Complete 2 classes through RockPointe Academy or 2 seminary classes
• Weekly discipleship, mentoring, and 1:1s from Academy team and lead pastors
• Rotate through each ministry area at RPC (4 weeks per rotation)
• Total immersion in ministry working alongside ministry leaders
